Begun during my adventures overseas, the Female Expat Project began as a collection of artworks about female expatriates and their original ideas about place. Just saw Isaac Julien's Ten Thousand Waves at the ICA Boston. Amazing. Attacking a topic like victims of globalization in a nuanced way that resonates and invites dialog.
